African Methodist/Episcopal Churches
The AME Church will carry out the spirit of the original Free African Society, out of which the AME Church evolved:  We focus on saving the lost, and to serve the needy.  It is also the duty of Church to continue to encourage all members to become involved in all aspects of church training and education.

Apostolic
The Apostolic Christian Church believes in the infallibility of the Bible, and it is founded on faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The purpose of the church is to teach the Gospel message of salvation, to nurture the believer, to preserve sound doctrine and to serve others in the likeness of Christ.

Association of Independent Methodists
AIM is a network of independent congregations committed to Christ-centered, Bible-based Methodism which recognizes and appreciates the local autonomy of its member churches.  Our passion is to help equip the local church to reach their communities and change the world through passionate love, purposeful direction, and personal ministry. The Association exists to serve you... Whether you are the pastor of or a layman within a church, we would love the opportunity to fulfill the mission Christ has entrusted to us by helping you fullfill that which He has entrusted to you!

Association of Vineyard Churches
The Vineyard places a high value on experiencing God, and the theology and practice of the kingdom of God. In fact, those values make up two of our five core values! Voices of the Vineyard is a wide collection of stories, news, and testimonies of God working. These stories stem from diverse voices within the Vineyard movement, in the United States and beyond, woven together by themes of experiencing God and the in-breaking of His kingdom. Check in on a regular basis, as the Voices Of The Vineyard section will inspire you, stir you, and challenge you to become a Kingdom person – loving people actively and expecting the God of Love to back you up as you do.

Baptist Churches
We are called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the  Christian faith, to maintain the prayer and worship, a passion for faithfulness, and a consciousness of their duties to God. We pledge our lives to Jesus Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through prayer and worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church.

Catholic Churches
Archbishop John C. Niendstedt has emphasized that the Christian mission is to “continue the works of Jesus Christ” and to make his name “known and loved.”

All should hasten without delay to be born again unto God, and afterwards to be signed by the Bishop, that is, to receive the sevenfold grace of the Holy Spirit…as has been handed down to us from St. Peter, and as the other Apostles taught in obedience to the command of our Lord…,” So says the church’s fourth pope, St. Clement (88-97 AD).

Church of God
The Saints of God have a great heritage of Bible truth. We treasure that truth and reach out to spread the light of God's word to the world. The Church of God believes and practices living free from sin according to New Testament teaching. Not only do we believe in salvation from sin, we believe in sanctification and infilling of the Holy Ghost.

Churches/Assemblies of God in Christ
Our Mission is to re-present Christ in serving the local and global community, as well as the body of Christ with love, support, and integrity.  By empowering people spiritually, educationally, and vocationally, they will be encouraged and motivated to glorify God.    Through the knowledge, application and proclamation of the Word of God, mankind will be reconciled to God.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
It’s hard to move forward when you don’t know where you’re headed or why. God’s plan gives us the answers to life’s most basic questions like, “Where did I come from?” “What’s my purpose here?” And, “What happens when I die?” Knowing the answers gives us hope and helps us find peace and joy.

Church of the Nazarene

Giving generously through the Church of the Nazarene Foundation is a creative, cost-effective and tax-efficient way for people to invest in ministries at the local, district, regional and general church level. We help donors and their families achieve their vision for God's Kingdom by matching them with ministries that serve their interests.

Episcopal Churches
We provide support and guidance for individuals in their discernment to mission service. We provide training and practical support for missionaries as they participate in God’s reconciling mission around the world. Missionaries are doctors, nurses, teachers, accountants, agriculturalists, computer technicians, administrators, theologians, and communicators.

Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
The ELCA is a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives.

Jehovah’s Witnesses Churches
Jehovah Witness deserve to be complimented on their determination and single-minded zeal. However, as Paul might have said concerning them, "I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge" (Rom. 10:2, NIV).

Judaism
Prayer is a central part of Jewish life. Observant Jews pray three times daily and say blessings over just about every day-to-day activity.

A man who will be chosen by G-d to put an end to all evil in the world, rebuild the Temple, bring the exiles back to Israel and usher in the world to come.

Non-Denominations/United/Christ/Christian Churches/Calvary Chapel
God became one of us through Jesus, and through his blood we have become worthy of God for He has washed our sins away. Our heavenly Father has redeemed us through the Lamb. We have been sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit of our Lord God Almighty. Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone has intricately placed each of us in a wonderful and holy temple that serves as a dwelling place of God in the Holy Spirit. Our Holy Father is worthy of your time and service in the vineyard of the Lord
Members of non-denominational churches often consider themselves simply "Christians".
In Christianity, non-denominational institutions or churches are those not formally aligned with an established denomination, or that remain otherwise officially autonomous. This, however, does not preclude an identifiable standard among such congregations.

Orthodox/Greek
The Mission of The Orthodox Church in America, the local autocephalous Orthodox Church, is to be faithful in fulfilling the commandment of Christ to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit....

Pentecostal/Assemblies Churches
The mission of Seeds of Hope is to sow "the Seed of Hope," Jesus Christ, in the hearts of many in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh, and to the ends of the earth. Our context is the emerging post-modern culture. Post-moderns have rejected the "trinity" of modernism: reason, nature and progress-and the church that is built on it. Lacking a metanarrative, post-moderns turn to a sort of primitive tribalism, or bury their pain in technology or consumerism. Our mission involves creating a Church that can be a safe gathering place for post-modern people to come experience the grace and forgiveness of God; a family of believers where they can find healing for the things that have hurt and wounded their souls; where they can "belong to believe"-that is, where they can be nurtured and discipled into faith in the one true God and in Jesus Christ whom He has sent.

Presbyterian Churches

we believe that God's grace, demonstrated to us in the radical love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, has the power to transform our world. Our mission is to build church-planting movements, whose energy continues to grow far into the future, long after we may be gone. Vibrant, nationally-led churches around the world will grow and multiply, transforming the culture around them.

Seventh-Day Adventist Churches
Our Mission: The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to make disciples of all people, communicating the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus as personal Savior and unite with His remnant Church, discipline them to serve Him as Lord and preparing them for His soon return.

The Lutheran Churches
By listening faithfully to the voices of our companion churches, ELCA GM seeks to shape the “big picture” within which synodical and congregational relationships can flourish. By engaging as one through the Global Mission unit, the ELCA lives out God’s mission as we accompany one another in our global faith walk.

United Church of Nazarene
The mission is "to respond to the Great Commission of Christ to ‘go and make disciples of all nations’ (Matthew 28:19)".In December 2006, this was expressed more succinctly as "to make Christlike disciples in the nations". This frames the global mission of the denomination.

United Methodist Churches
Why does the church exist? According to Matthew’s Gospel, the risen Christ made it clear: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you” (28:19-20).

Unorthodox
“Mission” carries a holistic understanding: the proclamation and sharing of the good news of the gospel by word (kerygma), deed (diakonia), prayer and worship (leiturgia) and the everyday witness of the Christian life (martyria); teaching as building up and strengthening people in their relationship with God and each other; and healing as wholeness and reconciliation into koinonia ? communion with God, communion with people, and communion with creation as a whole. (CWME Commission, 2005)
